Summary of Position: |
Provide basic, routine support for both University College and FLITE Dean's Office. The anticipated start date of this position is August of 2024. However, this is an estimated date and can be revised if needed. |

Essential Duties/Responsibilities: |
1. Answer or refer inquiries from students, faculty, staff and the public regarding established policies and procedures. 2. Perform general bookkeeping duties. 3. Prepare travel requests, journal vouchers, and reimbursements. 4. Assist faculty and Department chairs as needed. 5. Order supplies, utilize concur and Banner. 6. Run errands both on and off campus as needed. 7. Assist in collecting and synthesizing assessment data. 8. Coordinate meetings, events, workshops by scheduling facilities, preparing agendas, taking minutes, sending out calendar invites, catering, etc. 9. Make copies and assemble documents for meeting preparation. 10. Help with committees and committee reporting activities. 11. Help with student scholarships. 12. Demonstrates an understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion, especially in working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and community members. 13. Support, promote, and develop university student enrollment and retention initiatives. 14. Any other duties assigned within the position classification area. |

* Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. * Operate a variety of standard office machines and equipment. * Utilize the rules of proper grammar, correct spelling and punctuation. * Use computer software such as word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, databases, etc. * Perform basic mathematical operations with accuracy. * Communicate effectively with a diverse population of students, faculty staff and visitors. |
